many particiles: punctuation and linkers

Hello!

I wonder if it is neccessary to use punctuation or any linkers in long, compound sentences with many participles one after another. For example:

Nihayet kalınca[, / ve] yüzümü yıkayıp[, / ve] kahve içerken küçük kahvaltı ederim.

When I get up at last, after washing my face I eat a small breakfast and drink coffee.

I just feel a bit unsure putting so many participles without any separation, before using the final personal form of the verb at the end. Are any linkers really needed in the example above? What is the general rule?
