I am utterly amazed by the variety of Turkish music different people here seem to favor.

Here is one that gives me great pleasure to listen to.

You are listening to "ney" here; an instrument which is basically very simple (asn empty cane from certain lakes).

A ney, by the way, is never "played" in Turkish. A clarinet is "played", but a ney is always "blown".
