Thank you for carrying her nine months in your belly and raising her up to this age. I will take care of the rest, my dear mother-in-law.

This is one good example, where literal translation from one language to another may not sound very good. In English, the ladies carry babies in their wombs, not in their bellies, no?

Actually I was wondering this. I don´t know if English speaking mothers carry the child in the belly but at least they talk about baby bellies. Who knows?
