Incoherency in Turkish can be seen in cases as follows ;

1. Incoherency in words

When we don´t pick the right words to express feelings,situations etc. ,it is called Incoherency in words.

1.a. Incoherency in wrongly structered words.

Using wrong suffixes or wrong words.

Toplantıda  bazı bölgevi  meseleler ele alındı.

[In the meeting, some regional issues have been discussed.]

In the sentence above, the incoherency is caused by the wrong suffix in the word " bölgevi " , the correct suffix should be ; " bölgesel ".

--------------------------------------------------------

Her yaz Bodrum´da bir sayfiyelik ev kiralarız. [We rent summer house in Bodrum every summer]

In the sentence above, the incoherency is caused by the extra suffix "lik" as the loan word "sayfiye" does already mean "yazlık´ , so we don´t need to add another ´lik´ suffıx.

sayfiye = yazlık

--------------------------------------------------------

1.b. Incoherency in the words we mix with eachother.

We see this type of incoherency in the words that are very alike phonetically. And we sometimes mix them when we use ´em.

Aralarında küçük bir ayrıntı var. [there is a small difference between them]

ayrıntı - detail

ayrım  - difference

so the correct word should be ´ayrım´.

Therefore, the incoherency is caused by mixing two words that are phonetically

 resemble to eachother.

Some words that people mix ;

mahsur = stuck (in), unable to move (from)

mahzur = handicap, inconvenience

mütehassıs = expert, specialist

mütehassis = moved, touched, emotional

etc...

--------------------------------------------------

1.c Incoherency caused by unnecessaryly used words.

Duvarlara kalemle yazı yazmayınız. [ Do not write on the walls with pen]

Here, the incoherency is caused by using the unnecessary word "kalem"  since it is a warning and we are just asked " do not write on the walls"  it doesn´t matter what tool we use when we write on the walls.

Therefore, that warning should be as ;
Duvarlara yazı yazmayınız.

--------------------------------------------------

İki bakan, üç saat süreyle görüştüler. [ Two ministers talked for 3 hours time]

Again, the word ´süreyle´ is unnecessary and causes incoherency.

So, the sentence should be as ;

İki bakan, üç saat görüştüler.

---------------------------------------------------

1.d Incoherency caused by unnecessaryly repeated words.

These type of incoherency generally is seen in using a turkish word together with its loanword equivalence.

Bu olay ona merhameti ve acımayı öğretti. [ This incident taught him compassion and mercy]

Here, the incoherency is caused by using two words unnecessarily together that has same meaning.

merhamet                    =       acıma                   =     compassion, mercy

[arabic loanword]              [Turkish word]

-----------------------------------------------------

Her ideolojinin kendine özgü ilke ve prensipleri vardır. [Each idelogy has own principals.]

ilke  = prensip

Again, we should use one of them not both.

-----------------------------------------------------

1.e Incoherency caused by unnecessaryly used auxillary verb.

We should prefer using the proper verb instead of using with their auxillary verb versions. [if they have proper verb versions] such as ;

  Auxillary verb forms                              Proper form

Umut ediyorum                                    Umarım, dilerim

kuşku etmek                                       kuşkulanmak

başvuruda bulunmak                              başvurmak

duyuru yapmak                                     duyurmak

etki etmek                                            etkilemek

----------------------------------------------------------

1.f.  Incoherency caused by using words that are contradicting with eachother.

Belki bugün dışarı çıkacağız tabii. [ May be we´ll go out of course]

The incoherency here is ; the words "belki and tabii " are contradicting eachother and leaves us in confusion.

Eminim babam bu sorunu herhalde çözer. [ I am sure my father probably will solve this problem.]

Eminim  and herhalde  contradicts with eachother. Therefore , the sentence confuses us.

-----------------------------------------------------------

1.g. Incoherency caused by misspelling and mispronouncating of loanwords generally.

Wrong                                              Correct

adele                                                adale

afaroz                                               aforoz

asvalt                                               asfalt

herkez                                              herkes

muaffak                                           muvaffak

sezeryan                                         sezaryen

şevkat                                      şefkat

------------------------------------------------------------

2.  Incoherency in the elements of  the sentence.

Okulun onarımı bir ay içinde bitecek ve  ? eğitime başlayacaktır.

[Restoration of the school will finish and ? start schooling.]

Who will start educating [schooling] ? School will start educating [schooling].

So , missing element is subject [school]. Lacking subject causes incoherency.

The sentence should be as ;

Okulun onarımı bir ay içinde bitecek ve  okul eğitime başlayacaktır.

------------------------------------------------------------

Omuzlarıma kelebekler konuyorlar. [ Butterflies are landing on my shoulders.]

 Incoherency here is caused by ´plural marking´ in the verb, since when the subject is plural non-human then the verb should be in singular form.

So, the sentence should be as ;

Omuzlarıma kelebekler konuyor.

------------------------------------------------------------

2. b Incoherency caused by illogical sentences.

Estağfurullah Hocam. İnsanlara faydamız dokunuyorsa ne mutlu bize.

Burada eli öpülesi bir üstat varsa o da sensin.

Are you always talking to each other this way? Four posts just changing kisses oh no.

Anyway, it is funny to see that illogicalities of colloquial language follow very much the same patterns in different languages. This might be a useful thread to continue. For once we can pay attention to the mistakes Turks make themselves.

Instead of attacking poor learners all the time.

Turks love kissing each other. It is an old tradition And I always support learners. If someone says I attacked him/her,  I will apologize
