UNITED NATIONS / PALESTİNE

Status of Palestine in United Natıons has been upgraded to that of "Non-member observer State" by a UN resolution.

While 138 States voted to accept the resolution, 9 States voted against it; 41 states abstained from voting in either way.

Those agaist the resolution were,

Israel

United States

Canada

Czech Reupublic

Panama

Few small İsland States in Pasific
