could you tell me about weather in Istanbul for end of January - start of February?

I know the last year was very cold and lot of snow, but 2 years ago (when I spent a short holiday at the begining of February) the weather was like an early spring.

teşekkür ederim

Although weather predictions are getting more accurate, most bodies that predict weather only look about 15 days ahead at maximum. The closer you get to February, the more accurate the forecast will become. I spent most of November in Istanbul and was happily surprised at the mild weather, with only 3 rainy days.

If you have high expectations for good weather, you will probably be disappointed, but if you come to Istanbul expecting cold wintery weather, any mild weather will seem like an early spring. Smile

yes, I know is hard to predict weather; like you I was in November in Istanbul, last year, and after 2-3 weeks when I looked on internet about weather I decided to go; indeed, was shiny days, only one day with light rains; anyway, years ago I spent holiday in February there and it was very very hot - when I went from Bucharest were -15 C and when I arrived in Istanbul +12 - +15 C; but, as you know, is better to book a flight with 3-4 weeks early..

thank you Henry and Can33
