This is a place where people come to learn Turkish. Fine, no problem. But does that mean you do not need to pay much attention to English? How can one properly explain Turkish grammar without the ability to express oneself accurately in English?

I do not think I am a "guru", I do not think that you are inferior, I do not think you deserve to be punished, etc., etc. But sometimes I really become tired of prejudiced and ignorant people. AGAIN: this doesn´t mean you´re all prejudiced. Explaining things is an endless ritual in my life because people simply chose to misinterpret almost anything I do or say.

I work in aviation and I must be very precise, otherwise airplanes come falling from the sky. Having a keen eye for details is common in people with autism and for that particular reason they hired me.

please be tolerant as it seem you request this of us but we also have short commings and many do not master the English language as well as you seem to master it.

You wish us to be more tolerant towards you well the same is asked of you, to be tolerant of us.

If we have to be perfect with English, well the Turkish members can ask that you be prefect in Turkish.

As you say this is a learning site and many here were not as fortunate as you to master English.

Like you with Turklish others here speak English as a second, third or forth language.

And please stop with the "I have autism" I think everyone knows it by now.

Personally I think that a person who wants to teach other people Turkish or whatever language, should also know good english because otherwise it will create alot of misunderstandings and the people who is learning, will learn it in wrong way, and waste alot of time and energy in learning it. Because it has happend before to myself and I had to start all over again because of that. But theres really no need to sit and insult each other and having a bad attitude right? Ya´ll are grown ups aren´t you? I think that you mean well, yarvik, and I can understand you, but maybe you should think a little about how you put your words. You can say what you wanna say or complain what you wanna complain about but in a good way. and that goes for the rest of you. cause this is really childish.

English is the common language here but not everyone´s native language.  It is not an expectation of the site that people speak/write and communicate in perfect English.  Members who are expecting perfection in ANY language will probably be disappointed. {#emotions_dlg.bigsmile}

Anyway, I think by talking about yourself, you already showed that you do not have any bad intentions. Sometimes people complain just to complain.

Do not take these attacks very personally also because that is nothing compared to what I have seen on this site in the past. This is usual here that people quarrel with each other for usually nothing. This is a cyber place, thus, it is very easy to judge people. All of us do it from time to time.

You also corrected my english when I answered your questions regarding turkish language. first I was a bit disturbed but then seeing your other posts, I understood that this is your way. I saw that you were very concentrated on languages and mistakes concerning language. You like teaching and learning mutually.

As we are on a language site, I found it normal and I do not expect a "thank you" after every time I answer a question. Because it was not asked from me personally and if I take the time to give a reply, it is my choice and that is why I am on this site.

If we look for faults in people, it is easy. But we have to see the intentions. a black dot should not color all the white we have.

I just keep on explaining the same thing over and over again. No problem. My whole life is one huge explanatory ritual.

It´s not about perfection. I am not a Borg or anything. "We are The Borg. Resistance is futile. You must COMPLY!" {#emotions_dlg.wtf}

 I am simply letting you know that if you are expecting perfection from any of the members of this site in any language you are going to be continually disappointed.  Members, especially the native Turkish speakers, volunteer their time here and are not professional teachers - just generous individuals.  I would hope you take the time to enjoy their teachings rather than pick them apart.

That is what I tried to tell you when I first joined this forum: be open, as a child, without prejudice. In fact, most adults can easily master any language, but they are afraid of making mistakes or afraid of speaking in public. Children experiment. They make mistakes and then try something else if it doesn´t work. Change your learning strategy. If you think: I can not do it, you will never be able to progress in the first place!

Why not create an English language class as well?

Why don´t you be modest and satisfy with what you get?

You don´t pay for it and you still complain. You can hire a teacher if you want. We don´t force you to come here.

Where did I write: I want to deliberately complain? I do not experience myself complaining. I never complain, actually.

Sorry my bad

Why can´t we just accept each other´s own way of communicating? We are all here in the hopes of improving ourselves and helping each other. We are joining together from all over the world and, of course, having different techniques of helping and learning. We´re letting our differences pull us apart. If we can accept that we are all unique and cannot simply conform to one way of doing things, perhaps we can all learn and teach together in peace..

One more attempt: I am 43 years old. If I would be capable of doing what you just suggested, I wouldn´t be autistic. Trust me. This is why people get diagnosed with autism to start with. Believe me. It is not an excuse, nor a choice, it is REAL.

What is "good" anyway? I like hot, spicy food. For me, that is good, for you it might be horrible. The same food, yet two very different perceptions. That is the problem with non-autistic people: the definition of concepts changes constantly, depending on the context. In mathematics, however: 1 + 1 = 2. Always!

You only need to deal with autistic people in 1% of all cases. I need to deal with neurotypical people in 99% of all encounters.

and what..you are 43 but I am 45...but I feel a deep respect for all these volunteeres from here who help me everytime, even most of them maybe are younger than me, for their patience and time they gave me
