magrip (garp; gurup): direction in which the sun sets => evening  ---> old

This is not to criticise your work but to point out a thing that maybe a few might find it interesting/usefull.

Nur is reflected light. For example moonlight is nur (but not ziya) as it is reflection of sunlight.

In islamic terminology nur is the reflection of divine goodness. For example it may reflect on a person´s face: nur yüzlü (nur faced)

Thanks for sharing. I like to know these interesting facts. The way you express things in Turkish is very different from the way I might express the same things in English. I have Turkish friends and sometimes no matter how much we try, we do not always understand each other, even when we are speaking the same language.....still, I believe learning from each other is good.

Zor bir soru.

her yer karanlık pür nur o mevki

Tabii, şimdi, tut bunu ingilizceye çevir dersen bu durum benim üç kuruşluk ingilizcemi fena halde aşar (everywhere is dark except for the place where is fully bright / as if it is not grave but sunset) .. "Fully bright" ile "sunset" pek uymadı ama benden bu kadar.. Tek başınasın yani {#emotions_dlg.bigsmile}

I also have an objection to the term "TURKISH ART MUSIC".

Though the Turkish translation (Türk San´at Müziği) of the term is widely used even on the Turkish State Radio, it does not sound right to me even in Turkish.

The type of Turkish music sampled in this thread is better called TURKISH CLASSICAL MUSIC.

All places are dark my beautiful angel

Only in your tomb you have light my inncent flower

I wear your blond hair as a white stem

Open your arms let me come near you
