ohhhh then why Uzun was being used in that sentence
Because sometimes people don´t want to be bothered to say the whole thing, It´s just the way of collaquial usage , by dropping "boylu".
Everyone knows that just "uzun" doesn´t mean "tall" on its own however when you use it with a person, people will know that the person is talking about "tall" [the height of a person] , although it is not a proper way.,people use it that way.. its just a collaquial way.
Ayşe uzun ve zayıf bir kız = Ayşe uzun boylu ve zayıf bir kız ===> Ayşe is a tall and thin girl.

Ayşenin bacakları, kolları, parmakları, burnu, boynu, dili vs tek tek uzun olabilir ama Ayşe uzun olmaz; Ayşe uzun boylu olur.
Millete yanlış yunluş şeyler öğretmeyin.

Yanlış olduğunu düşünmüyorum. İkisi de günlük hayatta sıkça kullanılıyor.

He thinks, some of people on the forum teach wrong. so he says;
Don´t teach people wrong things
He calls learners as millet.
I personally think that both are used widely in practical language, and not wrong.

You are tall. --> Sen uzunsun.
My question is that why we used sun instead of sin, as as this is not i -type suffix to.
reason for this??
Thanks in anitcipation!

Hi, I remembered the vowel harmony rule like this and it was easy:
e goes with dotted letters: ö ü i
a goes with undotted letters: o u ı
The last vowel will indicate to you which vowel will follow.
After a while it will come naturally to you. Good luck with your learning!

Günlük hayatta birçok şeyi yanlış yapan tonla kişi var. Söylediğin lafın bir manası yok.
Laf olsun, asmalar budansın.
