Come drink with me stranger
Come drink the wine of regret
Do not take me yet stranger
I dont want to be cursed to forget

Why did you come here stranger?
Why are you so far from heaven?
Don’t you see I want to suffer stranger?
Except the pain take everything given

gel, benimle iç, Yabancı

gel, pişmanlık şarabını iç

alma beni, hala, Yabancı

 lanetlenmemi unutmak istemiyorum

buraya niye gelmiştin, Yabancı

cennetten o kadar uzak düşürsün, niye

acı çekmek istediğimi görmüyör müsün, Yabancı

veren canını yakmasından her şeyini al

hatalarım varsa çok özür dilerim.....

“My Love, Under a Gravestone”

[I dedicate this poem to anyone here on Turkishclass or
to anyone reading, and to the ones in heaven that I miss.]
_____________________________________________

“ In your starlit world above me
You say our fates we may not conquer, here.
You leave, divide yourself from me.
Didn’t I share your sorrows, your cares? Your bath?
When washing me in your love blood bath
When loving you too fondly to forget you
I forget me, as you pull my life down your drain
If I have freedom in my love,
Why can’t I stop building in sorrow
in a temple the world may not see?
Now I sleep in the haunting ghosts bed
I cannot look at, the skies, deathless,
they whisper the words you said
When your love for me faded.
They whisper with your coldness in a thousand silent ways
They whisper like you did, before you passed away. "

Merhaba Turkishclass members.

As you know every country has their own ideology of what this word

depression is.

The title says "Depression Poems ", however I must say

it´s a lie because what is to the Americans ´depression´ is a lifestyle to the

Turkish. Depression is what we call love, to the Turkish.

It´s a very beautiful concept to be depressed, or in love.

Love is a univeral immaturity, and it´s highest form is respect.

This is why I´m so compulsive about the Turkish people.

The title should read "Love Poems " .
