1) This is about a Turkish Order of Merit (dating back to Ottomans, probably no longer in use)

2) It is a list of distinguished recipients of this medal, to date.

 

You might wish to check the list, to see if your ancestors are included. If yes, it may be a good idea to search the old paraphernelia in the attic to find the antique medal....{#emotions_dlg.alcoholics}

 

PS: Pls wear it on your lapel in members´ reunion dinner, if you find one.
