Merhaba.

I need help in translating this sentence:

Eğitim ortamında öğrencilere, psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik hizmetleri sunulduğu takdirde, öğretim ve yönetim işleri kolaylaşacak, hem geleceğin yetişkinleri olan çocuk ve gençlerin, dolayısıyla toplumun ruh sağlığı korunmuş hem de çağdaş eğitim ortamı sağlanmış olur.

In particular I have problem understanding the phrase marked in red, but actually I struggle with the whole Anyway, my attempt is:

In the admiration which is offered to the students in educational environment, by the services of psychological counseling and guidance, teacher’s and manager’s jobs will get easy, also because of the children and youth who are future adults, society’s mental health is protected as well as modern educational atmosphere is supplied.

How should I understand the parts in red? There must be something wrong with the translation, because they don´t make much sense.. how can an admiration be offered? And in the later part, is dolayısıyla used in the meaning "because of"? Because that also doesn´t fit the context very much

 " takdirde "  simply means ---> IF

.......... takdirde  ----> if something.......

sunmak = to offer

If  something is offered  ----->  .................... sunulduğu takdirde

IF  the services of psychological counseling and guidance are offered to the students  in educational environment,------------> Eğitim ortamında öğrencilere, psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik hizmetleri  sunulduğu takdirde,

 öğretim ve yönetim işleri kolaylaşacak, hem geleceğin yetişkinleri olan çocuk ve gençlerin, dolayısıyla toplumun ruh sağlığı korunmuş hem de çağdaş eğitim ortamı sağlanmış olur.

 teacher’s and manager’s jobs will get easy. Therefore, mental health of  both the children and youth -who are future adults-  and consequently  the society shall be protected as well as modern educational atmosphere shall be supplied.

so if we put them all together, its gonna be something like as follows ;

IF  the services of psychological counseling and guidance are offered to the students  in educational environment, teacher’s and manager’s jobs will get easy. As a result of that  mental health of  both the children and youth -who are future adults- consequently  the [mental health of  ] the society shall have been protected as well as modern educational atmosphere will be created.

does it make more sense to you now ?

Oh yeah, now I see. Thanks However, I´ve got 3 supplemental questions:

1. So, the possessive -i in dolayıyla is a part of a fixed phrase meaning "consequently" and it is not related with the genetive -in after gençlerin?

2. As I suppose, all the Genitive suffixes in: ...hem geleceğin yetişkinleri olan çocuk ve gençlerin, dolayısıyla toplumun... make the full Genitive clause with ruh sağlığı - right?

3. And finally, you have translate all these compounds as two separate sentences: If the services of ... As a result of that  mental health of  ... will be created. But in fact, does the first Turkish sentence end with kolaylaşacak? Or are all these verb forms with -acak and -miş coming to the final olurkolaylaşacak... korunmuş... sağlanmış olur. ? Right?

My learner´s theories on this topic I can´t say for sure that they are correct though Probably one of our native speakers or language experts could help us and comment?

Unfortunately, I couldn´t come up with any theory here I guess it will be easier for us, at least for now, think of "dolayısıyla" as simply meaning "consequently" - though it would be good to know origin and "real" meaning of this word.

I think so - this is how I understood use of genitive and 3rd person suffixes in this sentences. The sentence is about "ruh sağlığı" of "geleceğin ... çocuk ve gençlerin", and, in consequence, of the society, so it looks like "ruh sağlıgı" is linked to both of them.

If kolaylaşacak was linked with olur, then I guess it would look like:

Öğretim ve yönetim işleri kolaylaşacak olur.

Which I think (as usual, not 100% sure) would mean "Education and management jobs will be ones to become easier". That would sound logical at least for me, but it disagrees with Tunci´s translation - I think that sentence given by me and one found in Tunci´s translation (...jobs will become easier) are different.

So this makes me think that "kolaylaşacak" stands alone here, and only korunmuş and sağlanmış are linked with olur, thus making:

Hem ...´in ruh sağlığı korunmuş hem de çağdam eğitim ortamı sağlanmış olur.

Both ...´s mental health will become defended, and modern educational environmentwill become ensured. (very literal)
