Between the verbs, just "etmek" and "gitmek" experience the softening of consonant.

If the last letter of the monosyllabic verb is a incontinuant hard consonant (ç, p, k, t), the helper vowel between the affirmative present simple sffix and verb is a large vowel (e, a)

seyir etmek--->seyretmek, (synonym: izlemek) (to watch)

seyret+r+im---------------------->seyrederim (i watch)
