Turkish speech synthesizer at ivona.pl

Hi all

 

Today I learned that speech synthesizer Ivona(*) (to which I always point people who would like to check how something should be pronounced in Polish... though IMO it sometimes indeed sound like voice of someone who have been reading text aloud for 20 years without a break ) can now imitate Turkish speech! Unfortunately (at least for us) Ivona is a commercial application, but you can test it online here:

For me it sounds quite natural, but I´m definitely not the right person to judge it. Just thought that some of TC members may find it useful, or maybe some of native speakers could give opinion about it

 

(*) Name "Ivona" comes from Polish female name "Iwona". You can check at Ivona how to pronounce Iwona
