La disparition - Kayboluş

French author Georges Perec had managed the tour-de-force of writing an entire book (300 pages) named "La disparition" without a single ´e´ in it.

The same way (without a single ´e´ in it), it was translated to Turkish with the title "Kayboluş".

Cemal Yardımcı, the translator, says that it is easier to do in Turkish because when you exclude the letter ´e´, you lose  30-to-40% of the entire vocabulary in French while it can be estimated to be around 25% in Turkish.

Does anyone know about similar attempts for another language?
