I am not a twitter user. But there is some news that twitter access has been blocked in Turkia as of today.

Out of curiosity I tried to access it and it´s fine for me (currently it´s 12:15 am here now).

Today, it´s a different story for me. Let alone twitter, I cannot access many sites I used to visit regularly. By chance I can access to this site.

I don´t know what to say. Let´s wait and see what happens...

It appears that our government has banned google DNS´es (8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4) and those IP´s were set on my modem.

me too, I am not a twiitter user but I am afraid about my turkish friends..I am afraid I couldnt communicate with them....do you know if there is a problem with msn, skype or facebook....

İ have relatives living in Turkey.  There are no current problems with Skype or Facebook (does msn still exist?) but if there were to be you could always resort to emaıl - I doubt Mr E would be able to ban that!

People were bypassing the blockage by using different DNS´es and they decided to ban twitter IP addresses directly last night. So it´s not possible to access twitter using diffrent DNS´es anymore.

What an embarrasment for my country.

Let´s not talk about Mr. E.  He may ban us too!
