I was wondering if there was anyone out there who would be able to to help me please (on my knees begging lol). I´m a basic beginner, and when I say basic I know hello, how are you etc but sentences I´m like :0. I know I need to learn and I will learn (thanks to finding this site).

Anywayz probably like some of you on this site (apart from Turkish men lol) you´ve probably got friendly with a Turkish guy. I´m in the same position and although his english is reasonably good there is something that I want to say to him in his own language. So he doesn´t get mixed messages etc. Again I will be EXTREMELY grateful if someone could help me with the translation as I´ve tried on google translator sent it to him and he was like {#emotions_dlg.confused}, so maybe google translator was a bad idea lol.

Okay here goes with my translation and thank you in advance for anyone who can help me.

I am single and have been single for the last 5 years. I was engaged to be married but my family didn´t approve of him so the wedding didn´t go ahead. I´m not one to jump in to any casual relationship. I take my time and get to know someone and then decide if that person is the person who I want to be with.

I´m 26 years old and now my parents are asking me when I´m going to get married. am I going to be getting married or just going to stay single for the rest of my life? Like I´ve said above I take my time to get to know someone and then decide if that person is the person who I want to be with. I won´t rush in to a life long decision.

I´m working in a hotel and I´ve been working there for a few years. I enjoy it. It´s not a glamourous job but it´s a job with a wage at the end of the month.

Well that is the message and once again please please can someone help me

thank you

Tina

X

Keyifli/eğlenceli bir iş (or keyif alıyorum).

Thank you so much for your help. When you say ´daily´ talk are we talking about slang?
