Hi, I´m a new member on here. I´m really happy I´ve found this site! Now, I can improve my Turkish. I think you people are nice for helping others.

Well I was wondering how I could say this

"I´m going to Turkey this summer for two weeks. I don´t think I would feel different there considering we almost have the same traditions. I´m really excited for this to happen!"

andd "Were you born in Turkey or Holland?"

Thanks if you took your time to help!!

This is my try.

Modification: Being an experienced user of this forum, KediNero drew his guns faster than me.

Here is my now obsolete message:

Google Translate is awful when it comes to Turkish. It gives a vaguely understandable translation though. Use it, as a last resort.

Let´s get the translation you asked for:

"Bu yaz iki haftalığına Türkiye´ye gidiyorum. Geleneklerimiz neredeyse aynı, bu yüzden pek yabancılık çekeceğimi sanmıyorum."

No translation for "I´m really excited for this to happen." We don´t get excited in Turkey.

"Türkiye´de mi Hollanda´da mı doğdun?"

Or if you want to use the polite form like du/Sie in German or 你/您 in Chinese;

"Türkiye´de mi Hollanda´da mı doğdunuz?"
