Ona binlerce kere söyledim, ama duydu!

I have told her a thousand times, but she never listens!

Thank you

hiç (never)

duymak (to hear)

This adverb requires two negations.

duy+ma(negation)+dı(simple past)------>duymadı (she didn´t hear)

Ona binlerce kere söyledim, ama hiç duymadı. (I have told her thousands of times, but she has never heard.)

dinlemek (to listen)

...ama hiç dinlemedi. (...but she has never listened.)

demek (to say (for direct speech))

söylemek (to say, to tell (also for indirect speech))

anlatmak (to tell (to do explanations to someone about something))

Ona binlerce kere anlattım, ama hiç dinlemedi. (I have told her thousands of times, but she has never listened.)
