1 ok

2 your sentence is understandable but  onun bir çok albümü var sounds better

3 Sılanın şarkılarından birisi Sezen tarafından yazıl.

one of Sıla´s songs was written by Sezen.

when you add the following suffixes: -ıl -il -ın -in -un -ün -ul -ül  they make your sentence passive we call it in turkish EDİLGEN.

yaz-ıl-dı.it is written

A build was built.Bir yapı inşa ed-(il)-di.

Thanks a lot everyone.

But why is it that the ´albums´ becomes singular in Turkish?

Yes i think çok albümleri var is also wrong, i did not pay attention on that.

You already said çok so it´s wrong to use it in plural.

You won´t say beş kardeşlerim var, it´s wrong. You would say beş kardeşim var

Çok albümleri var and beş kardeşleri var is correct if it is third person plural.

Ex:

Onların çok paraları var. (they)

Onun çok parası var. (he)

I see, so with çok, we leave out the plural. What about with bazı? az?

bazı insanlar çok akıllıdır=some people are very smart

Arkadaşlarımdan bazıları çok akıllı=some of my friends are very smart

why did i said akıllıdır in first and akıllı in second sentence?

Because it´s the fact that some people are very smart and you can´t change it, in second sentence i only said that my friends are very smart, i am not 100% sure about that.

you won´t say az paralarım var, az param var is correct.

Çok az param var is also correct.

Çok param yok=az param var

But not sure if az can be used always.

az arkadaşım var (Does it sound correct) {#emotions_dlg.think}

i think it would be more correct to say birçok arkadaşım yok.

Bence öyledir, ama doğruyu söylememiş olabilirim.

"çok" already means plurality. Your type is valid in spoken language.

Sıla´nın şarkılarından birisini Sezen yazdı. (Sezen has written one of Sıla´s songs.)

=Sıla´nın şarkılarının birisini Sezen yazdı. (Sezen has written one of Sıla´s songs.)

=Sıla´nın şarkılarından birini Sezen yazdı.

=Sıla´nın şarkılarının birini Sezen yazdı.

=Sıla´nın bir şarkısını Sezen yazdı. (Sezen has written one of Sıla´s songs (purely: A song of Sıla, Sezen has written.))

Here, the stress is at "Sezen"(subject) because it locates in front of the predicate.

bir şarkı (a song)

bir şarkısı (one of her songs (purely: her a song))

Sıla´nın bir şarkısı (one of Sıla´s songs (purely: Sıla´s a song))

The words "biri" and "birisi" can be almost always used instead of each other.

bir (1one, 2a/an, 3same, 4different, 5one time, 6..)

bir+i(possessive)---------------->biri (one of them (purely: its one))

biri, birisi (1one of them, 2someone)

Is this acceptable? Is there a better way to say it?

How´s your summer?

Senin yazın nasıldı?

gitmek (to go)

Senin yazın nasıldı? (How was your summer?)

We usually use "tatil (holiday, vacation)".

Tatil nasıl gidiyor? (How is the vacation going on?) : This is the most favourite pattern.
