Polygot, you may want to try to identify the main verb in the sentence from English and then conjugate that at the end of your Turkish sentence. Mind you, identifying the verb in English is not always obvious. But it should be the verb coming after the subject.

For example, your first sentence in Turkish would be closer to (not sure exactly): I am coming here to choose.

Gelme-y-i vs. Gelme-y-e is a difficult one. It´s usually based on the verb conjuagted at the end of the sentence.

For example when I look up the verb to choose here http://www.turkishdictionary.net/?word=se%E7mek it says /ı/ underneath it. Although, when I look up kara wermek, for some reason, it doesn´t say?
