Merhabalar! Here is another lovely song from Barış Manço. Please help me with my translation. ... Teşekkürler!

Ömrümün Sonbaharında -- In the Autumn of My Life

Adım anılmaz oldu -- My name is not mentioned. It happened.
Kapım çalınmaz oldu -- My door is not knocked upon. It happened.
Ömrümün sonbaharında -- In the autumn of my life.

Gönlüm katlansın diye -- So that my heart should endure,
Gören göz görmez oldu -- Seeing eyes do not see. It happened.
Ömrümün sonbaharında -- In the autumn of my life.

Saçlarıma düştü aklar -- My hair began to turn gray.
Hüzünlendi akşamlar -- Evenings became melancholy.
Ömrümün sonbaharında -- In the autumn of my life.

Hep yüzüme kapandı -- Friendly doors that I knew
Dost bildiğim kapılar -- Were routinely shut in my face.
Ömrümün sonbaharında -- In the autumn of my life.

Şarkılar yarım kaldı -- Songs were half-finished.
Resimler soldu şimdi -- Photos have faded now.
Ömrümün sonbaharında -- In the autumn of my life.

Döktüğüm gözyaşları -- The torrent of tears that I poured out,
Sel oldu aktı gitti -- It happened. It flowed, it went.
Ömrümün sonbaharında -- In the autumn of my life.

Elimden kaçırdığım -- I miss my youth
Gençliğimi özledim -- That I let slip from my hands.
Ömrümün sonbaharında -- In the autumn of my life.

Artık hiç dönmeyecek -- Now she will never return.
Sevgiliyi bekledim -- I have waited for the beloved.
Ömrümün sonbaharında -- In the autumn of my life.

Barış isyan eyleme -- Barış, don´t rebel.
Yıllar akıp gidiyor -- The years flow and go.
Ömrümün sonbaharında -- In the autumn of my life.

Fazla vaktin kalmadı -- Not much of your time remains.
Giden geri dönmüyor -- Time that is gone doesn´t return.
Ömrümün sonbaharında -- In the autumn of my life.

Hala kalem tutacak -- Still the pen will continue.
Bir parça gücüm kaldı -- A bit of my strength remained.
Ömrümün sonbaharında -- In the autumn of my life.

Hala yazıp çizecek -- Still it will write and draw.
Birkaç satırım kaldı -- A few of my lines remained.
Ömrümün sonbaharında -- In the autumn of my life.

Hala bitirmediğim -- What I have done is still unfinished.
Bir yarım şarkım kaldı -- My song is half-done.
Ömrümün sonbaharında -- In the autumn of my life.

Ve hala beni dinleyen -- And a handful of my friends
Bir avuç dostum kaldı -- remained listening to me.
Ömrümün sonbaharında -- In the autumn of my life.

I´m not sure but looks good to me overall.

Usually oldu wouldn´t wouldn´t start a new sentence but in music, you never know.

Adım anılmaz oldu -- My name is not mentioned. It happened.

My name is no longer mentioned

Kapım çalınmaz oldu -- My door is not knocked upon. It happened.

My door no longer is knocked upon.

Tunci helped me out on this one recently here:

Quoting trip

Merhabalar! Here is another lovely song from Barış Manço. Please help me with my translation. ... Teşekkürler!

Ömrümün Sonbaharında -- In the Autumn of My Life

I would treat 3 lines as a sentence. For example:

Hala yazıp çizecek
Birkaç satırım kaldı
Ömrümün sonbaharında

Ömrümün sonbaharında, hala yazıp çizecek, birkaç satırım kaldı.

In the autumn of my life, I have still some (lines) to write.

I would treat 3 lines as a sentence.

Yes, I am never quite sure where to start with lines like these. There a couple of places in this song where the first and second lines are clearly one sentence, starting with the second line. For instance:

Elimden kaçırdığım -- I miss my youth
Gençliğimi özledim -- That I let slip from my hands.

But it also seems poetic for the "In the autumn of my life" to fall at the end of each stanza. Somehow it is more melancholy.

In any case, it is a beautiful song, even with my clumsy translation.

Teşekkür ederim.
