I think you cant understand what you read. I dont like to be online dictionary. So, if you like to be,  it your pleasure.

For Gods sake, no one will force you doing that. If you dont want you, can stay silent and let me (believe it its my pleasure) and maybe some others to do this. But there is no reason to underestimate anybody. So I please you not to prolong this anymore.

I think it doesnt consern you. Maybe you couldnt understand that, but i was silent. That´s why i asked the dictionary. You are new in here and its not your business to teach me what can i do or not... As you did in here, i told my opinion on the top also. You can like or not, its your choice. But, do not treat like lawyer...

Etimologically , it comes from the old verb "topur-mak" which means "getting dried up and becoming dust "  

This old verb root took the " -Ik " suffix and became a noun which means "soil/ground/earth/country" today.

topur + Ik ---> Toprak 

As you see, the later vowel "u" was dropped and the suffix "ak" added onto it.
