Kendine iyi bak

Is this correct?

Or Kendine Bak - take care.

Literally something like: Look to yourself

Oh, we never say "Kendine bak." in that context. It has a totally different meaning.{#emotions_dlg.bigsmile}

 

"Kendine bak." or its more popular version "Sen kendine bak!" would translate to "You´re the one to talk!", which means the person you´re talking to can not critisize you because he has the same flaw. Another example in English is: "people who live in glass houses shouldn´t throw stones at other people."

 

Getting back to the main subject: "Kendine iyi bak." translates perfectly to "Take care." If you want to say "Take good care." you can say "Kendine çok iyi bak."
