Göksel’in şarkları genelde çok hüzünlü ama sevdiğim için bir tercüme denemek istedim.

Yardım edersiniz sevinirim Şarkin her bolümce altında İngilizce yazacağım:

Görüyordum duyuyordum biliyordum susuyordum

İstemedim neden hayır diyemedim ki

Kızıyordum kaçıyordum köşelerde yaşıyordum
Söyleyecek sözüm çoktu neden sustum ki

Benim kendimle ufak bir sorunum var
İçimde patlamaya hazır bir bomba var

I was seeing, I was hearing, I was knowing, I was shutting up

Why didn´t I say no when I didn´t want (it/something)
I was getting angry, I was escaping, I was living in corners

Why was I silent when I had so many words to say

I have a tiny problem with myself

There’s a bomb ready to explode within me

[Nakarat]
Ben bu gece karar verdim
Kuş olup gökte uçmaya
Sevdiğimi kızdığımı
Dünyaya haykırmaya
hay hay hay hay
Dünyaya haykırmaya
hay hay hay hay
Sessizliği bozmaya

(chorus)

I decided tonight

To be a bird and fly in the sky

The things I love, the things I was angry about

Leave it to the World to cry about

(hay hay hay....)

Leave it to the world to cry about

(hay hay hay...)

To not destroy the silence/stillness(?)

Puslu puslu duruyordum uslu uslu yaşıyordum
Açıklarda yüzmenin tam zamanı şimdi
Hep bir sebep buluyordum uzaktan seyrediyordum
Ne varsa tutuklu bende bıraktım gitti
Benim kendimle ufak bir sorunum var
Biriktirdiğim ne varsa şimdi patlar

I was staying put with clouded vision and I was living politely

Now is the time to live with my face in the open

I was always finding a reason/excuse and I was watching from afar

Whatever was holding me back/hostage let go and left

I have a tiny problem with myself

Whatever I have saved up/bottled up (inside) is going to explode

[Nakarat] (chorus)

Ben bu sabah karar verdim
Yıldızları yakmaya
Bildiğimi gördüğümü dünyaya anlatmaya
hay hay hay hay
Dünyaya haykırmaya
hay hay hay hay
Sessizliği bozmaya
hay hay hay hay...

I decided this morning

To burn the stars

To not explain to the world the things I know, the things I have seen

(hay hay hay...)

Leave it to the world to cry about

(hay hay hay...)

Not to destroy the silence/stillness(?)

(hay hay hay...)

I only see one actual mistake here  -  but you repeat it many times. The other remarks are about idioms  -  English or Turkish. Neither one is my native language so they are more commentaries than corrections.

To not destroy the silence/stillness(?) to break the silence (MA MARKS INFINITIVE HERE NOT NEGATION, THE VERB IS GOVERNED BY KARAR VERDİM)

P.S. You have been very careful about translating every IYOR into BE -ING. There is no one-to-one correspondence between these verb forms. But if it sounds natural it is ok of course.

Thank you for the feedback, Abla. Especially about the mistake I struggled with in seeing the verb in infinitive form. I can´t believe I got the song so wrong! Ahhh! But this was really helpful. Thanks!
