Hür doÄŸdum hür yaÅŸarım.

Hangi çılgın beni esir alıcakmış ÅŸaÅŸarım.

I was born free and I will live free?

What about the second sentence?

Hür doÄŸdum hür yaÅŸarım.

Hangi çılgın beni esir alıcakmış ÅŸaÅŸarım.

I was born free and I will live free?

What about the second sentence?

This is very close to part of the Turkish national anthem below, which has been copied from another site.

Ben ezelden beridir hür yaÅŸadım, hür yaÅŸarım.
Hangi çılgın bana zincir vuracakmış? ÅžaÅŸarım!
I have been free since the beginning and forever shall be so.
What madman shall put me in chains? I defy the very idea!

I agree with your translation of the first line,
and I´m guessing the changed part of the second line should be
Hangi çılgın beni esir alacakmış?
What madman shall capture me?

Şaşarım = I will be amazed/astounded, but if you look up şaşmak,
other meanings are possible

çok teÅŸekkür!

I was thinking something like " I would be amazed if some mad person chained me"
