襤yi olmad覺覺n覺 duydum...

This is a tricky one for English speakers, Polyglot

You aren´t well. 襤yi deilsin.

I heard. Duydum.

However, put them together: 襤yi deilsin duydum. And it´s wrong in Turkish. This has to do with restrictions when combining 2 verbs in one sentence. In this case you need to use olmak + dik when you combine them.

@denizli;

You are right, but you can use that form with a comma. ´´Duydum, iyi deilsin.´´ veya ´´襤yi deilsin, duydum.´´

Interesting. What about if you are speaking - If you pause you are OK and if you don´t pause, it sounds wrong?

Yes. You should pause, but If you do not, you do not sound wrong.

´´Ödevleri yapt覺覺m覺 biliyorsun.´´=´´Ödevleri yapt覺m, biliyorsun.´´

´´Seni sevdiimi biliyorsun deil mi?´´=´´Seni seviyorum, biliyorsun deil mi?´´

´´Gittin, gördüm.´´=´´Gittiini gördüm.´´

However, sometimes situation is important.

´´襤yi olmad覺覺n覺 duydum. Umar覺m k覺sa zamanda iyileirsin.´´

´´Duydum, iyi deilmisin. Umar覺m k覺sa zamanda iyileirsin.´´

Second one sounds strange. That form may be used in this conversation;

(For this example, it is a telephone conversation)

A: Ahmet´in biraz ba覺 ar覺yormu.

B: Biz de duyduk, iyi deilmi. Doktora gitmi mi?

A: Bilmiyorum, bir ey söylemedi.
