Have any one on this forum ever been to Sivas/Sarkisla.

I would like to know how life is over there. What can I expect when I will go there?

Greetings Ambertje

Thank you. But I was wondering if I go there, like I am a western girl. Will they look strange to me or do they see there more blond girls.

They will not look more strange to you than they do in other places. I have been there and I am a reddish-blond woman. No problems, only thing is that Sivas is not very interesting. They have a small bazar and a few (islamic) historical buildings which are worn out. A 3,5 hour drive by minubus from Sivas is Divriği with a Medieval mosque annex former psychiatric hospital which is on the Unesco list of World Heritages. Nice to see but I do not think worth such a long drive.
