Hello peeps I hope u can help clear my road for me.

I recently came back to england from holiday in turkey.

Well as it goes i did meet the women of my dreams but...

Talking to several muslim friends (one of them turkish female) they tell me i should be very cautious.

I met this women by chance in Marmaris at a pool and we hit it off straight away. we done the full walking talking and getting to know each other. until the last day were i could not find her before i flew home.

The background of her is this.

She did have a boyfriend in the navy there and pregnant to him but he did not want the child and she does not love him.

Her papa is a drunk who waists his money and life on booze and the mother is meant to be hospitalised.

As far i i know this boyfriend is easy with the fists towards her.

But she wants me to stay with her rather than se being with her.

Now she text me to saying now that she is not pregnant and she has left her boyfriend and staying with sister in Didim. She is looking for a job to support her self and is asking me when i am coming back turkey.

My female turkish friend in england is telling my to forget it and move on but the only person i think about is this women caled Sefika.

She knows a bit about me how i buy and sell property and do have a few coin to rub together.
So people say there is a very big chance that she is after a better life for her self and if she marries my would demand half of my coin.

The question is..... Is it true that a lot of turkish women in turkey do look for a western person with coin to get a better state of life ie a free ride.

If u have any info at all or any storys u have no mtter good or bd i would like to know.

Also how can i protect my self finacialy when i head out there and how much cash can u take in to the country on my person by flying from england to turkey before it is classed as money laundering!!! ????????????

Please help!!!!!

I think this is only a question you can answer yourself. I think we can all "sense" if someone is insincere, but we choose to ignore it if we feel ourselves to be in love! With regard to this girl being after some financial gain.. really you could wonder this of any girl from any country. All over the world there are women (and men!) who would rather be rich than in love!

I certainly wouldn't go and visit armed with fistfuls of cash after knowing her for just a week!

Follow your instincts and tread carefully is my advice
Good luck

I have to agree with aenigma x.

I am in a similar situation to you with role reversal. I fell just madly for Omer this summer. He's a poor waiter with an awful lot of pride.

I'm relatively successful in the economic realm.

You have to follow your heart- really. You just plain know when you love someone if you spend five or six days completely alone from the world and end up laughing quite often.

But that is "in love"- very different than "love". Love is the boring, the everyday, the mundane, the looking at someone with their weird habits and saying "it's kind of cute".

Love is struggling over money, wants, wishes etc... over a long period of time.

Love is really ADMIRING who your partner is.... and even more than that-- them admiring you.... and bringing out the very best in you.

My advice:

It seems you have the means to spend some time with your friend. Do so!

You will know. Don't busy yourself with activities and bars or clubs, but just get together for days and talk....

You will know!

Christine
