Galata Tower from old British quarter
Galata Tower from old British quarter
During the last years of the Ottoman Empire this area contained a British prison, a British law court, a British Post Office, and a British Naval Hospital. This shot is taken from outside the prison (which is now a restaurant!) (Location: Galata, Istanbul)
