Description:

Haghia Sofia, Trabzon's the most important place from an architectonic point of view. It was built on a hill and is surrounded by gardens facing the Black Sea bay. It is a Byzantine church constructed around 1200 A.D. By the Sultan Mehmed II the church was transformed into a mosque. Now it is museum.
