i only know "i dont know" and "i dont understand"

i dont know = bilmiyorum. bilmem (shortcut)

i dont understand = anlamiyorum (literally its i am not understanding). anlamadim (PAST TENSE. i did not understand)

yes, most probably.

i remember our lesson in school. it depends on the vowel. vowel harmony you all it, i guess. i am not sure, btw.
but here`s my note:

Negative Suffixes : "-Ma , -Me"

***but in simdiki zaman, it is transformed into "-mi, -mı, -mu, mü"

if the last vowel

is -a,-ı --- you will use -mı (ma)
is -e,-i --- you will use -mi (me)
is -o,-u --- you will use -mu (ma)
is -ö,-ü --- you will use -mü (me)


Verb + (mi, mı, mu, mü) + yor + personal pronoun suffix

içmiyorum -- i am not drinking
su içmiyorum -- i am not drinking water

gelmiyorum -- i am not coming
okula gelmiyorum -- i am not coming to school
