There are lots of interesting things to see in Turkey. The country has some fantastic scenic wonders. Apart from that Turkeys historical and archeological sites are truly unique which attracts tourists from all over the globe. Turkish people are warm and along with modern infrastructures, prices here are quite reasonable. Turkey has turned out to be as one of the most visited countries.
The country has wide beautiful beaches and here you will find the summers to be a bit longer. In some areas summers lasts for up to 8 months. There is lot to see here like coves, islands, ports, peninsulas and beaches etc. People also come to Turkey to take part in sporting activities as the country is blessed with lakes, rivers, mountains and valleys etc.
Coming to the language, the official language here is Turkish. About 220 million people around the globe speak Turkish. In fact it is the world's fifth most widely spoken language. This language is spoken in various countries like Cyprus, Iraq, Greece, Bulgaria, the Republic of Macedonia and some parts of Eastern Europe. The language is pretty interesting and is completely phonetic. Off late a lot of people have shown interest to learn Turkish in Turkey. International language trainers ESL has designed Turkish language courses for the benefit of learners who wish to learn this language.
There is a very popular place in Turkey called Izmir or the Pearl of the Aegean. It is the beauty and history of this place which attracts people. Izmir is well known for its beaches, cuisines, hospitality and nightlife. Thousands of visitors come to Izmir every summer to enjoy the attractions of Izmir.
Izmir experiences mild winters and hot and humid summers. Flash rainstorms occur during December and January but rainfalls are scanty during summers. Tourists come here to experience Izmirs year long sunshine as well as its beautiful beaches where the water is crystal clear. In recent years Izmir has turned out to be a much sought after tourist destination and therefore there are lots of facilities tourists. If you have taken a fancy for Izmir then you will be glad to know that there are Turkish courses in Izmir too.
Turkey has got a weak currency in comparison to the Euro, Sterling and Dollar. Therefore you can make a lot of purchases here and also travel around without worrying about the cost. A lot of European people come here every year to buy property in Turkey because of the low cost.
