A Guide to Turkish Visas by Country

Please note that visa requirements and fees are prone to change - you must speak to your holiday representative or Turkish consulate BEFORE you travel to confirm your personal visa situation.

Citizens of the following countries with ordinary passports need an entry visa and can obtain a 90-day multiple-entry visa when they arrive in Turkey:

Australia, Barbados, Belgium, Canada, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, St Lucia, Spain, United Kingdom, Antigua-Barbuda, Austria, Bahamas, Dominica, Haiti, Jamaica, Maldives, Malta, Oman, St Christopher Nevis, St Vincent & the Grenadines, Slovenia, United States of America. 

Visa fees at Turkish border gates for 2009 from Turkey’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

 

In contrast, the following nationalities do NOT need an entry visa to visit Turkey for 90 days: 

Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, France, German, Greece, Guatemala, Honduras, Iran , Japan, Malaysia, Monaco, Morocco, Nicaragua, San Marino, Montenegro, Switzerland, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Uruguay, Venezuela, Andorra, Czech Republic, Denmark, El Salvador, Finland, Georgia, Iceland, Israel, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden, Tunisia, Vatican City.
