A bird just flew through the balcony doors of my office and was going crazy! I said to it "look, just calm down or you will hurt yourself - the door is behind you". As soon as I said it, the bird flew down to the floor and walked out of the door!!! lol

Hehehe yes I just love people who use qualifying statements. My particularly favourites are:-

"I dont want to offend anyone but..." and then go on to offend them!

"I dont want to be nasty but..." and then are very nasty!

and

"I dont want to appear mean but...." and then are very mean!

Qualifying statements such as these are usually a good indictor of what is to come!!!

Deli kızın and Aenigma - please tolerate and forgive those kind of people. I am one of those people, but nevertheless I am not asking you for that just because I am one of them . We are hopeless, we are desperate, we are in need of people and their help, and their support, and their presence. We are weak in every respect. We are human!

When looking up for a word in the dictionary, my eyes caught this:

sweet william - hüsnüyusuf

Both English and Turkish word are so funny! lol

And I am looking forward to coming across the similar ones like "sweet Bod" or "sweet aenigma" and of course their Turkish equivalents as well.

Hahaha! Do you mean the flower? It is the common name for Dianthus.

Sweet Bod must be very colourful and have wonderful petals!
Have no idea what Sweet Aengima would be....something spiky and poisonous I would imagine! lol

Coming down some steps today from an office into the street, (in London), I majestically caught the heel of my shoe in the other trouser leg and had to leap from the step into the street, (to avoid landing flat on my face) in front of several workmen! Not one made a comment and I walked away smiling at myself ...............

Dear Santa,

Love,

Dear Sarah,

Santa

Dear Santa, want a new bike, a Playstation, a train, some G.I. Joes, a dog, a drum kit, a pony and a tuba.
Love,

Santa

-----
Dear Santa,
I left milk and cookies for you under the tree, and I left
carrots for your reindeer outside the back door.
Love,
Susan

Dear Susan,
Milk gives me the runs and carrots
make the deer fart in my face when riding in the sleigh. You want to do me a favour? Leave me a bottle of scotch.
Santa

Dear Santa,
Do you see us when we're sleeping, do you really know when we're awake, like in the song?

Dear Jessica,
Are you really that gullible? Good luck in whatever you

Dearest Santa,
We don't have a chimney in our house, how do you get into

Love,
Marky

Mark,
First, stop calling yourself 'Marky', that's why you're getting your ass whipped at school. Second, you don't live
in a house, you live in a low-rent apartment complex. Third, I get your pad just like all the burglars do, through your bedroom window.

Love,
Jessica

Dear Jessica,
Are you really that gullible? Good luck in whatever you
do. I'm skipping your house.
Santa

Dear Santa,
I really really want a puppy this year.
Please please please PLEASE PLEASE could I have one?
Timmy

Timmy,
That whiney begging sh*t may work with your folks, but that crap doesn't work with me. You're getting a sweater again.
Santa

-----
Dearest Santa,
We don't have a chimney in our house, how do you get into
our home?
Love,
Marky

Mark,
First, stop calling yourself 'Marky', that's why you're getting your ass whipped at school. Second, you don't live
in a house, you live in a low-rent apartment complex. Third, I get your pad just like all the burglars do, through your bedroom window.
Sweet Dreams,
Santa

Dear Santa,
Why are you always making toys for everyone? You make a lot of toys.
-- Stacy

Dear Stacy,
Because it beats making license plates or folding laundry.
Violating parole,
Santa

Dear Santa,
All I want for Christmas are election results that are definitive.
-- Chris

Dear Chris,
Pack your bags and be by the chimney at 11 p.m. Christmas Eve; the flight to Albania takes but a few minutes by reindeer. (There aren't many nice children there for me to visit, but I can still manage an air-drop if I'm out of parachutes.)
Speech ain't free (nor is the ride),
Santa

Dear Santa,
How can you manufacture all those toys and give them away without ever going broke?
-- Samantha

Dear Samantha,
Simple, dear. The elves are chained to their workbenches, and any time a union tries to form, I toss the ringleaders out in the snow. I'm Santa, darn it, and I'm the only game in town.
Keeping alive the spirit of Andrew Carnegie,
Santa

Dear Santa,
Why are you so darn fat?
-- Blair

Dear Blair,
Because when I go house to house on Christmas Eve and look at all those tiny sweet sleeping faces, I find that I can never eat just one.
Savoring each morsel,
Santa

Dear Santa,
I don't like my younger sibling Dana anymore. The kid's mean, chews up my toys, and smells weird. I'd like a new one, please.

Dear Leslie,
You're in luck! Neither Dana nor your parents wanted you any more either, so by replacing you I can kill three birds with one stone.
Returns accepted w/ receipt only,

Dear Santa,
You don't *really* eat kids, do you? Only the Grinch does that sort of thing, and he's ugly and hairy and green, and you don't look like that at all!
-- Laverne

Dear Laverne,
Hate to burst your bubble, kid, but you have no idea what I look like under this rubber mask.
Trick or treat,
Santa

Dear Santa,
Why do people call you Kris Kringle?
-- Francis

Dear Francis,
Because the name Brimburgle Schnartlin Zimbrelowski is a real pain to spell. (Trust me; you never grew in Phillipsburg, New Jersey.)
Phonetically last but not least,
Santa

Dear Santa,
Why do we always leave cookies and milk out for you on Christmas Eve?
-- Jackie

Dear Jackie,
Because with all the driving I have to do, hot wings and beer make people nervous.
Happy fender-benders,
Santa

Dear Santa,
Why does Rudolph have a bright shiny schnoz?
-- Cameron

Dear Cameron,
Because he's the only reindeer who's not a brown-noser.
Hankering for flank steaks,
Santa

Dear Santa,
Do you believe in the Easter Bunny?
-- Mackenzie

Dear Mackenzie,
I did, until last year. Now the larder is empty again. Did you know he was filled with vanilla nougat?
Still wishing for visions of venison,
Santa

Subject: "New" English announced by the Commission

The European Commission has just announced an agreement whereby
English will be the official language of the European Union rather
than German, which was the other possibility.

As part of the negotiations, the British Government conceded that
English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5-
year phase-in plan that would become known as "Euro-English".

In the first year, "s" will replace the soft "c". Sertainly , this
will make the sivil servants jump with joy.

The hard "c" will be dropped in favour of "k". This should klear up
konfusion, and keyboards kan have one less letter.

There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year when the
troublesome "ph" will be replaced with "f". This will make words like
fotograf 20% shorter.

In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted
to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible.

Governments will enkourage the removal of double letters which have
always ben a deterent to akurate speling.

Also, al wil agre that the horibl mes of the silent "e" in the languag
is disgrasful and it should go away.

By the 4th yer people wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing "th"
with "z" and "w" with "v".

During ze fifz yer, ze unesesary "o" kan be dropd from vords
kontaining " ou" and after ziz fifz yer, ve vil hav a reil sensibl
riten styl.

Zer vil be no mor trubl or difikultis and evrivun vil find it ezi tu
understand ech oza. Ze drem of a united urop vil finali kum tru.

Und efter ze fifz yer, ve vil al be speking German like zey vunted in

If you're Turkish...
You know about the concept of freedom of speech but you wouldn't dare talk about it too much.
You believe in God, as much as you believe in separation of religion and government. You still finish your utterances by saying Insallah (If God wills it). There is a 99 % probability that you are Muslim; you're much less likely to be zealous about it.
You would believe the news you see on TV, but the life of the rich and famous seems more intriguing-- you would rather watch trashy paparazzi shows. The "news" shows aren't all that different anyway.
You probably smoke like... errr... like a Turk.
You put salt in your food before you taste it.
You're very familiar with popular culture figures such as Hülya Avsar, Tarkan, Sibel Can, Ibrahim Tatlises, Ebru Gündes, Okan Bayülgen, Cem Yilmaz, and you probably know all the nasty little details of their private lives.
If you're male, you are a futbol fanatic. It would be unthinkable for you not to support one of the major Turkish teams. By the way, you fail to understand why someone would use a bizarre word like "soccer."
You are unaware that you have more official and not-so-official vacations than any country in Europe. Nowadays, that mostly means running out of town so that you can avoid visits by boring relatives. How long?
You think that everyone in the world is concerned with what happens in your country. You're shocked when you learn that some Europeans or Americans are unable to locate your country on a map.
You live in a secular country but you believe in God, and of course you are Muslim-- nominally. This means that you might fast during Ramadan yet still have no qualms about consuming alcohol the other 11 months. You'd still go to Heaven though, because God forgives.
from one website)))

I heard a great little true story on the radio this morning. A man was sent a speeding fine (complete with the speed-camera photograph of his car).

He was so angry that he sent it back to the police with a photograph of his payment cheque.
The police seem to have had a sense of humour because a few days later he received a reply from the police in the post....a photograph of a pair of handcuffs!!!!

He quickly paid his fine lol lol lol

A letter-wishing from a hotel in Istanbul, a boutique to which i tried to book but they probably were pretty busy, so by the time they got back to me, i have already made the bookings. Here it goes:

Dear Hotel guests

You are the ones who stayed in our hotel or wanted to stay
in our Hotel but we couldnot accomodate you. After 12 years of service to you with our best i really hope you enjoyed our hotel(!) and made your stay comfortable in İstanbul.
We wish a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Seeing you in another time at our hotel is our biggest wish for 2008

Best Regards.

i have now a lot of email addresses of the people who stood at this hotel.
anyone interested?

Yes, it is true, I have been ill also, but I am still reeling from the broken heart caused by one Ms. Fatal so there was no contact between Keit...I mean Mr. "L" and myself.

I would just like to state...for the record...Elizabeth....I had no contact with Mr. "L" while he was in my lovely home state.
Yes, it is true, I have been ill also, but I am still reeling from the broken heart caused by one Ms. Fatal so there was no contact between Keit...I mean Mr. "L" and myself.

ahhaaa!.. Keithhhh!! what is all this about?
(just kidding girls..I am not that jealous )

lol I can picture that too. My son and I played roller hockey for several years. I know how much padding I needed and I was the only female on the team. Once he learns how to skate, you will need to get him a hockey stick.. Lots of fun..

the fact that eagles brought apaches the light and helped in the creation of the world. ever since, when an eagle dies, they take the feathers and wear it to bring them wisdom. i wonder how it would be if the primary eagle would have been a turul-bird... or a griffin...

This fragment from Geoffrey Lewis' 'The Turkish language reform, a catastrophic succes' didnt just make me smile, it made me laugh in the train (The 'he' in the fragment refers to Atatürk)

"He equated the first two syllables of merinos 'merino' with the Yakut ibri 'fine', and merino wool is indeed fine. He wondered whether the word might have travelled to Spain with the İber Turks, in which case the names not only of the merino sheep and its wool but of the İberian peninsula too would be of Turkish origin. He is reputed also to have proposed Turkish etymologies for Niagara and Amazon: Ne yaygara 'What tumult!' and Ama uzun 'But it's long'!"

Geoffrey Lewis, p 43.

Tom tom and driving related arguments:

tot tom: bip bip bip.
Mrs: you are over the speed limit again.
Mr: I am going with the traffic. Every car is over 30, it is just 35 mph!
Mrs: You will get a ticket!..Thanks to tom tom, I dont need to watch your driving all the time.
tom tom: bip bip bip
Mr: I dont think it should be ON when I am driving. I am not the person who had three tickets last year, because of the speed cameras. I have never got a ticket so far.
Mrs: You have just been SO lucky so far but it does not mean you wont get any in the future.
Mr: Look, stop bothering the driver..
Mr: how come you always seem right in the end? grrrr.
tom tom: bip bip bip
Mr(thinking): (Next time I will create and argument, then pretend I got really angry and throw that f... tom tom through the window!)

You are right. But upon request to change some rude remarks, he was rude too. People are entitled to their freedom, but the only way to handle freedom is with respect.. and he surely had a lack of it.

But dont be sad, you can be sure he will be back soon

And I honestly hope that you are wrong saying that he has the mentality of the majority. I keep believing that his opinion is the minority

Some things that can make me sleepless...

If you yelled for 8 years, 7 months and 6 days, you would have produced enough sound energy to heat one cup of coffee.
(Hardly seems worth it)

A pig's orgasm lasts for 30 minutes.
(In my next life I want to be a pig)

(How'd they figure this out, and why?)

Banging your head against a wall uses 150 calories an hour.
(Still can't get over that pig thing)

(Don't try this at home...maybe at work?)

Humans and dolphins are the only species that have sex for pleasure.
(Is that why Flipper was always smiling?)

(And pigs get 30-minute orgasms? Doesn't seem fair)

The strongest muscle in the body is the tongue.
(Hmmmmmmmmm........)

Right-handed people live, on average, nine years longer than left-handed people do.
(If you're ambidextrous do you split the difference?)

The ant can lift 50 times its own weight, can pull 30 times its own weight and always falls over on its right side when intoxicated.
(From drinking little bottles of...?)

(Did taxpayers pay for this research??)

Polar bears are left handed.
(Who knew....? Who cares? How'd they find out, ask them?)

The catfish has over 27,000 taste buds.
(What can be so tasty on the bottom of the pond?)

The flea can jump 350 times its body length. It's like a human jumping the length of a football field.
(30 minutes...can you imagine?? And why pigs?)

A cockroach will live nine days without it's head, before it starves to death.
(Creepy)

The male praying mantis cannot copulate while its head is attached to its body. The female initiates sex by ripping the male's head off.
(Honey, I'm home. What the....)

(Well, at least pigs get a break there )

Some lions mate over 50 times a day.
(In my next life I still want to be a pig... quality over quantity)

Butterflies taste with their feet.
(Oh, geez)

(That's almost as bad as catfish)

An ostrich's eye is bigger than it's brain.
(I know some people like that.)

Starfish don't have brains.
(I know some people like that too.)

After reading all these, all I can say is...Lucky Pig!

a peace train show where she declared a goodbye to TC, but still here having an excuse of not being deleted and posting craps only about me and aenigma. what if she never gets deleted? will she stay here even after she has said GOODBYE to all of us? why doesnt she hold her words?
or is she just being a dramma queen seeking an attention from the audience? maybe shes waiting for more 'please, dont leave' except daydreamers?
anyway, shes still babbling in her own foolishness.

Dear Catwoman

I have been waiting 2 days now. I even sent you a pm. I even asked FF to put in a bad word for me. I even suggested I pm CGG so they can press the spam button. I am desparate to be saved from the dubious honour of joining the 5000 post club. I want my life back please catwoman please catwoman i wanna go to rehab and I say yeah yeah yeah I wanna live catwoman please catwoman . . . . . catwoma? Are you there Catwoman? CATWOMA N? . . . ..

Is there a "post one get one free" scheme by any chance, or 5 for the price of 1? Please . . . I don't have long left . . . . SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!!!!!!!

Peace train, this is not meant to sound sarcastic, but you want to leave (even temporarily) you just leave. Why are you continuing to log in, if you want your account deleted?

Peace train, Aenigma is completely right. Why don't you just stop logging in if you don't want to be here..? Do you have to be deleted to stop playing the games you claim to not like?

Quoting catwoman:

Quoting femme_fatal:

a peace train show where she declared a goodbye to TC, but still here having an excuse of not being deleted and posting craps only about me and aenigma. what if she never gets deleted? will she stay here even after she has said GOODBYE to all of us? why doesnt she hold her words?
or is she just being a dramma queen seeking an attention from the audience? maybe shes waiting for more 'please, dont leave' except daydreamers?
anyway, shes still babbling in her own foolishness.

I completely agree that NOT saying "good bye" is a MUCH better way to have people cry for you and beg you to come back! lol This must be the great, nauseating femmalic wisdom!
