Hi I am going to Antalya soon and I want to visit Hatay just for one night I know its a 15 hour bus journey but Does anyone know where I can book? Which bus companies and what would the return  price be for an adult travelling on the 12th of April and returning on the 14th of april. Help VERY much appreciated .

It´s about 735km from Antalya to Hatay and it will take you at least 14 hours (single journey). I don´t know current prices but in 2007 such a trip cost me around 55 TL, so count for double and you´re on the safe side.

Source for this and loads of other local/ travelling info: www.turkeytravelplanner.com

Use the site index for cities and click ´transport´ (below on each city page).

You could try pm´ing fellow member ´britturk´ - she seems to have visited Hatay herself and might be able to give you the information.

Couldn´t you just go with one of the major bus companies, like Metro? Or perhaps take a major company like Varan to Gaziantep, and take a smaller bus service from there. I think this will cut down in the costs. They always seem to have a spot left in their busses (except for holidays-bayram)

You do realize the original post was in March. She´s probably been there and back by now!
