Catwoman is in Istanbul now after a visit to her family and friends in Poland. I think she is too busy with her course and experiencing the beauties to be here

Teşekküler......hoş bulduk......

I was indeed swimming at 2am in a denim skirt (not exactly mini for me ) because that is what I happened to be wearing when one of the other guests took it upon herself to teach me to swim!!!

Before this I had never been able to swim
But after this I was swimming in the pool at 2am-ish in whatever I happen to wearing at the time......being a little bit of a rebel as the pool official closed at 8pm

A SONG TO MISSING PERSONS
(My version of No More Heroes - Stranglers hehe!)

Whatever happened to Cyrano de Bergerac?
He got an ice pick
That made his ears burn

Whatever happened to dear Erdinc ?
The great Lyndie, and Bod?
Whatever happened to the heroes?
Whatever happened to the heroes?

Whatever happened to all the heroes?
All the Moderators?
They watched their Rome burn
Whatever happened to the heroes?
Whatever happened to the heroes?

No more heroes any more
No more heroes any more

Whatever happened to all the heroes?
All the Translators?
They watched their Rome burn
Whatever happened to the heroes?
Whatever happened to the heroes?

No more heroes any more
No more heroes any more

lol

What is a "click"...ouh! you mean "clique"???? Hahaha I was not aware I was a member of one! How exciting! I never object to jokes - just nasty vindictiveness.

Actually I dont believe we were discussing you, but as the saying goes - "if the cap fits, wear it"

Cyrano is dead! Sad but true! Dead! He no longer exists! You have to admit this. Dead is he!

"Philosopher, metaphysician,
Rhymer, brawler, and musician,
Famed for his lunar expedition,
And the unnumbered duels he fought,--
And lover also,--by interposition!--
Here lies Hercule Savinien
De Cyrano de Bergerac,
Who was everything, yet was naught."

Femme will you please be a little bit more respectful.....to clowns.
Clowns are funny. This Cirque monkey, is not.I know,he tries to hard but ends up sounding pathetic instead.

He reminds me of the "obnoctious, gossip, desperately-trying- to- be-cool- but failing-miserably and ending-up-being- the- laughing-stock" character of turkish comedy show "Avrupa Yakası".
"BurhanAltintopOfTLC" would make a GREAT 5647389th nick for the million-faced clown.

I am foreseeing the days you will use nicks with Roman numerals like "Aenigma XIV". And this will remind us of those historical figures such as "Louis XVI", "Elisabeth XII" and "Aenigma III". Hehe!

Seems I managed to upset you yet again Pagliaccio I do seem to have a knack of it. Well, its a fact that we both had a few names, but apologies to you for any offence caused to you by my mentioning it.

Actually, I thought my new name was rather more Egyptian Kingish! "here is the tomb of King AEnigma III...blah blah! lol

You, too, do know that you didn't upset me at all (because that would follow that you don't know me, either. hehe!) You have just forced me to make this explanation, and you succeeded!

Well, which one of my old nicks would you like me to put under this post?

Many women I know prefer males with a slightly dark complexion. They tend to like males with strong personalities. In other words, they run after leaders. They both run into problems with those macho characters and yet still like it that way for reasons beyond my understanding.

While not strictly a rule, a typical European male will probably be too polite to leave any kind of impression on our women who are used to males of another sort. After all, it is not very surprizing that part of the male image in the minds of the females is shaped in the childhood by observing their fathers who are very different in manners, reactions and traits from their European counterparts.

There are absolutely quite a lot of people both males and females who have a different taste in this regard. Actually I have heard of all kinds of women attracted to all kinds of men in this society though in much smaller percentages.

Women getting married to or living with foreigners go through a brief cultural shock. A friend of ours got married with a German guy and they began living in a small German town in a single house. When showing her the house where they would live together, the girl notices, her new husband makes all sorts of weird warnings about how to behave in the house and treat their neighbors. Most notably, he tells her after explaining that their neighbors feed rabbits, not to ever catch and eat those rabbits even if they come near her. This might be seen as a result of a deep rooted xenophobia but I think the intercultural marriage shock. also plays a role in this. The guy obviously likes his new wife but he doesn't know how to deal with her.

I agree with the slightly dark complexion and strong personalities .. hehehe .. all women like to be controlled TO AN EXTENT .. note I put this in LARGE LETTERS ..

why would she catch it and eat it? am I missing something here?

Obviously, he loves his wife but he is also a bit worried about the cultural distance there is between the two of them. While the most logical deduction here should not be eating the rabbit, it is worthwile both as a joke and as a telltale sign of his fear of the unpredictable aspects of his wife's sociocultural background. He therefore prefers to be on the safe side and warns her beforehand.

On the other hand, we might also be suspicious of a burning desire in his subconscious to eat that rabbit. Rabbit symbolizes some sort of a bounty a winnable asset. It might have gone through his own mind beforehand, maybe in childhood.

The rabbit and wife duality could also be symbolizing a mental process. Accrdingly, the rabbit might be symbolizing the freedom he enjoyed before his marriage, his younger days which he is afraid of parting now, as a result of this abrupt radical change in his life. That his wife could eat the rabbit might actually be associated with his fear about her taking over the rest of his life. The choice of rabbit as the symbol of as something that is in jeopardy might either indicate a deep rooted homosexuality or a sever lack of compassion in childhood. Children who crave for affection in childhood are afraid of losing their belongings. They never discard objects belonging to them even if they have become completey unuseful through extensive use. They may also develop obsessive feelings towards their family members or friends. In many situations a split personality might also develop. I would like to draw your attention to the similarity between a rabbit and a bridal gown. Chances are that his other personality might be planning to harm his wife and as tpyically happens in these situations, it attempts to put the blame of that offense on another person. She therefore becomes both the victim and the murderer in his thoughts.

Wow Keith...you really have gotten into some heavy analysis of this. Then you know the couple. I hope he isn't that bad.

It is odd his feeling the need to warn her not to eat the rabbits. I don't know many women who would catch a rabbit slaughter and dress it, then eat it, unless they are in a desperate situation, or raise rabbits.

There are a lot of Canadian Geese where I am. I have had goose for dinner and find they are very tasty, but I'm not that desperate, or I'm lazy. Maybe if people would start "harvesting" them, they would cease to be the problem they have become. I can't imagine any woman I know eating them in the wild....

this is again a witness to your good manners, hypocrite lol well done!

Why don´t you take a hot bubble bath, have a cup of herbal tea, or just get laid (get somebody drunk if you have to)?

It´ll help with your disposition.

Now that vineyards is gone are you looking for somebody new to pick fights with?  Trust me, I have better things to do in life than concern myself with you.

You remind me of one of those little dogs (although from what I hear a St Bernard would be a better description) that keep yapping and yapping to get attention until they get a swift kick. You would deserve just that, alas I wouldn´t want to dirty my shoes. So I´m just going to ignore you instead. Happy yapping Femme {#lang_emotions_bigsmile}

P.S. How´s that for good manners? It seems like I need to get down to your level for you to maybe get it.

I just had a long msn chat with her  (nearly 2 hours and we finished 15 mins ago) and she told me that she does not like people here anymore.. She thinks that specially her country women in tc are simply horrible and unbearable..
