That is sex discrimination. Do tell us what you have against the boys?

How about that ? That´s just her decision.

I do not mean to start a discussion here but it is a good manner to show respect to others´ decisions and not to judge everything that does not fit you and your view of things.

No, it is not sex discrimination.

I am living with my family, I don´t like boys coming my house for lessons.

İn Turkey things are different than USA

Don´t get me wrong, I am not saying better or worse, just different.

ps: of course I am a girl too.

Perhaps you should call them students...not boys or girls !

I´m surprised by the reactions... yes, my first thought was also that this was a man who wanted to teach to women/girls. But a woman teaching, of course, when in Turkey, having male students over can make people get the wrong idea. And far too often the teacher can get in trouble...

I hope you find some students. The use of ´boy´ seems to be quite widely spread in Turkey, for example my wife (28 years old back then) got a request from a colleague about teaching him (50 years old) Turkish. She replied ´I´m married, and I don´t want to be seen alone with a boy´.

I think it is very unwise to make such a post in a public forum. You have no idea who would answer you.
