Selam aleyküm,

What kind of emotions are mostly in Turkish art and literature and music? What do Turkish painters paint mostly? What do Turkish poets write about mostly? What do they sing about and are their voices happy or sad? What do Turkish people prefer?

I hope someone can answer me and give me examples so I can look them out, as I think indulging through Turkish arts will help me learn Turkish better.

.. Thanks ..

The songs tend to be about broken hearts. Here´s a site where you can look up Turkish singers and songs and then you can select the lyrics.
