Ask the question "how " to the verb if there is an answer  there is big chance  we can use this form.

-Sınıfa nasıl girdi?  How he entered  to the classroom.

 -  Gülerek girdi  - :     By laughing. 

As you see, we obtained from a verb an adverb of manner.

Bu işi nasıl öğrendin?  How did you learn this job?

Yapararak?           :    By doing.

 I learned english by talking: İngilizceyi konuşarak (to Verb Root"konuş  " we add  the suffixe arak)  öğrendim.

 Giderek daha iyi yapıyorsun. In this sentence gitmek: to go means along the time , with time. we can translate  you do better every day...(with time )

Bu elbiseyi alarak iyi ettin   : You did well by buying this robe.

 VR+2R -4R+KEN or        Noun(y) ken : WHİLE  WHEN

2r  : (ER ,AR)   4 r: (IR, İR, UR,ÜR ): present general: aorist form 

 THİS FORM İS USED WHEN THE VERB İS SİMİLTANEOUS WİTH ANOTHER  ACTİON.

Eve gelirken arkadaşımı gördüm: While coming home I saw my friend.

İskemleye otururken düştüm: I fell  while sitting at the chair.

Ken  can follow the nouns.

Sınavdayken: during the examination (sınav: exam  )

(Ben  sen  o  biz siz onlar )Öğrenciyken: when  .I, you, he, we...was/were a student 

As you see ben öğrenciyken, biz öğrenciyken   the form is fix.

Siz öğrenciyken bisikletiniz var mıydı? When you were a student, did you have a bicycle?

Ben öğrenciyken bisikletim yoktu: When I was a student I didn´t have a bicycle.

Now  use either erek arak or ken form
