de/da - 1

The "de/da" which is conjuntion is always written separately. No exception! This is the same for the other meanings as well. You´ll see in next lessons.

It concerns the component which locates in front of it. The situation is just this!

It obeys the major vowel harmony.

It never turns into another shape. For instance: di, do, dö, etc.

ben de (me too)

Ben geldim. (I came.)

Ben de geldim. (I came, too.)

Yarın okula gideceğim. (I will go to the school tomorrow.)

yarın da (tomorrow too)

Okula yarın da gideceğim. (I will go to the school tomorrow too.)

okula da (to the school as well)

Yarın okula da gideceğim. (I also will go to the school tomorrow.)

Ben yarın okula gideceğim. (I will go to the school tomorrow.)

Ben de yarın okula gideceğim. (I will go to the school tomorrow as well.)

Much clearer for emphasizing:

Yarın okula ben de gideceğim. (I will go to the school tomorrow as well.)

/Okula yarın ben de gideceğim.

It doesn´t matter, if you say "yarın okula" or "okula yarın". "ben de" is already in front of the predicate anyhow.
