In Turkish we have noun sentences. A noun sentence is the equalent of a sentence that is using the verb "to be" (am, is, are, was, were, has been, have been).

Examples:

Hava çok sıcak.

The weather is too hot.

Bu mavi.

This is blue.

Noun sentences can have either a noun or an adjective but they don´t have a verb. To make verb sentences negative we use a negative suffix:

Example:

Ali geldi. > Al gelmedi.

Ali geliyor. > Ali gelmiyor.

To make a noun sentence negative we use "değil" (not).

Bu mavi değil.

This isn´t blue.

Hava sıcak değil.

The weather isn´t how.

Make these noun sentences negative :

Example:

This is the given sentence: "Bu mavi."

This is your answer: "Bu mavi değil."

7.

Bu müzik çok kötü.

8.

Hakan iyi bir futbolcu.

9.
