Is anyone at all surprised that many Turkish nationalists can't handle any criticism? Is this really "news"? lol lol

Lisa, the man himself is a nationalist, for god's sake! It is not the nationalists attacking him

Alpha, some people feel they are above criticism. If you want to argue over symantics fine, my terminology may have been wrong....however.....my point is the same.....people who are weak in there own beliefs, get offended and feel threatened by criticism. People who have REAL faith and TRUELY feel they are on the right path DO NOT get shaken by criticism.

You have everything wrong..I dont know if it is worth correcting you.

1.Fazil's problem is with fundamentalist sunnis.
2.Fundamentalist sunni's in Turkia currently have the US support behind them and are very far from being unsure of themselves. They are getting bolder, everyday.

Forget semantics...What exactly is it that you want say?

Thanks for your offer to "correct" me. It is amazing that I have made it thru all these years without correction.

Stop being so grumpy Alpha...lest you stop being my favorite nemesis!

Forget Fazils of the world Lisa.
I think you are somewhat better on the subject of Martin Luthers. Why dont you stick to your own subject?

Pity you have wasted your life away from me. Imagine how further you would have improved yourself under my wise and considerate guidance ))))))))))))That you will never know, of course.

See you next time around....

Well teaschip1, you have outdone yourself. Couldn't you find a more hateful site to post here?

Try looking at this page Electoral Democracies it gives a different picture, but it's not graphic.

He notes the most repressive countries in 2007 were: Myanmar, North Korea, Eritrea, Zimbabwe and Sudan

Thanks Alameda, I thought you would appreciate it. I know sometimes the truth hurts. And to answer your question, yes I could find a more hateful site, but don't want to over do it. I know how sensative some individuals are here. BTW, if you had your specs on you would see my post was Freedom Map. If you or other members chose to read the whole entire website, that was entirely your decision and whether I agree with it or not I don't believe I ever mentioned. Looks like your link, backs up my map. Look closer next time.
