Hehe, what a nice thread, right up my street!  I am with Aenigma on this one.............. nothing beats a good burn up at the traffic lights, leaving a 20 something smart a**e with dust (or snow!) in his face!!!

Having done go-cart racing, riden a motorbike, and a variety of other vehicles in my time, and driven in several different countries, I would challenge any man to a race round a track (excluding all formular 1 drivers of course!)

The most annoying dirvers for me:

  • Mothers with a hord of kids in their fourxfour
  • Old people who have lost their senses (danger and direction)
  • People who slow down when they change gear
  • Lane hoggers
  • Those who want to be in two lanes

In fact most people {#lang_emotions_satisfied_nod}

Turkish ladies, Turkish young women, Turkish girls can drive very well, maybe they are better than others in foreign countries.And they have best cars.Come and see them if you travel to Turkey someday.

 I can vouch for that, having been driven very nicely through Istanbul streets by a young Turkish woman! {#lang_emotions_bigsmile}

If my sister-in-law is anything to go by.....never get in a car with a Turkish woman.

Saying that I crashed my car in the snow on monday, so maybe i am not so good myself.

But any man that I have ever been with insists that he is to drive....even if its my car.

In Italy we say:

donna al volante pericolo costante

(driving woman, constant danger)

but, personally, I drive well{#lang_emotions_razz}

Well, having driven in Turkey a lot, and very recently in Istanbul..I would just recommend doing what the Turks do.

Take your mind out of gear and go with the flow. Expect them to do exactly what they shouldn´t...and most dangerous things on the road..dolmus drivers..not woman !!!
