I´m giving my opinion about your wish having native speakers as mod (and your own becoming one), is that forbidden? My duty? Nothing. I´m just a member like you, sweety.

so dont excite and get angry when I write something to admins,

this thread is for questions about site.

and I asked a question.

I want to be an administrator

I didnt say my translation is more important than others.

No, but you did insult Trudy implying her contribution was worthless because you think she doesn´t speak Turkish. That was what I took issue with. You equated being able to contribute on this site with speaking fluent Turkish.

This lady has travelled round more of Turkey on her own than most of us have in groups ... and has probably visited more of Turkey´s off the beaten track history and beauty than you or I have ... so I think she may well speak a lot more Turkish than you think.

Exactly your idea that members cannot give their opinions about questions from others, no matter what forum they are posted in, confirms my opinion you shouldn´t be one. I think you would be more a strict schoolteacher than all of us whose job it is together! lol

Edit: I´m not angry at all. If you call this already angry, then wait for one of my outbursts of temper..... lol lol

Moderators must be changed coz of some reasons. I dont wanna explain why

We need new moderators.

Hopefully you have sent a PM to Admin (the chief of the site!) and explained fully to him your problems with the moderators so he can take up your points.  It is no good writing a post here with no explanation why you think "we" need new mods.

if we leave other private reasons. main reason is none of the mods can speak turkish.

I dont think even they can form a turkish sentence.  for example you Trudy, you are a member of this site for many years. what do you know about turkish except aþkým, bebeðim, merhaba, seni seviyorum)  mods are also same. so we need a mod who is native turkish speaker.

Just a point -  Rule 3 of Forum Rules

3. The official language of all forums is ENGLISH with the following exceptions and details: • The language ´Teaching Turkish´ forum is Turkish only.  AND THE  3 MODERATORS THERE ARE ALL TURKISH WITH DELI_KIZIN (WHO IS STUDYING TURKISH AT UNIVERSITY) AS ADMIN
• ´Language´ and ´Turkish Translation´ forums can have Turkish texts according the nature of these boards.

so these rules dont prevent me for being an administrator.

Nope - as LL said - send a pm to the main Admin

But you can´t just become admin - you have to be a mod first

Janissary, you should retract this statment as it has now been pointed out to you that there are several Turkish mods on this site with Admin being Turkish himself.  Therefore I ask that you either modify the post or retract the statement.

I politely request that the arguing should stop please.

Janissary, I have made some suggestions for you:

1) retract your statement or modify your post that none of the mods can speak Turkish

2) if you wish to become a mod pm Admin with your request

3) if have other issues about this site again, pm these to admin, so that he can deal with them appropriately

I will also make an observation:

You are not doing your moderator campaign much good by arguing in this thread.

I am having problems logging in.  I enter my name and password and click "go" and nothing happens.  It takes 5 or 6 tries to finally get in.  Is this an evil attempt to keep me out of TC or are others having the same issue?  {#emotions_dlg.unsure}
