UmraniyeYE Gitmek istiyorum

Umraniyede - in Umraniye

UmraniyeYE Gitmek istiyorum

Umraniyede - in Umraniye

Umraniyeye - to Umraniye

Jools - you are right to add the apostrophe  because the noun is a proper noun.

Umraniye´de - in Umraniye

Umraniye´ye - to(wards) Umraniye

But, of course, it doesn´t matter if you are talking to a taxi driver!

Umraniye´ye gitmek istiyorum is a perfect translation.

Just more used to taxi driver is gideceðim...Umraniye´ye gideceðim.

Taxi driver would also ask nereye gideceksiniz ? (where are you going)

and not nereye gitmek istiyorsunuz.

Anyway this is my experience but your way to say is actually more polite Big smile

When in doubt, use the shortest expression possible.

If you just said ´Ümraniye´ it would be perfectly correct in terms of grammar and the driver would understand it clearly!

Oh what great advice!  Flowers -  I have definitely decided that this approach works much better than keeping people standing around while I struggle to form complicated grammatically correct sentences in my head before opening my mouth!  lol
