The Turkish verb for ´to like´ is hoşlanmak.

The thing you like has the ´den/dan/ten/tan´ suffix attached.

So saying ´I like this´ (I am liking this) becomes

bundan hoşlanıyorum.

The way I remember this as a learner is to think "I get enjoyment from" when I use ´hoşlanmak´.

...but can be used as ´I understand´  same as ´geldim´ can mean ´I´m here/I´ve arrived´
