Hmm, barba, have you checked the list of famous Turks here given in the links? They are not just Atatürk or Sultan Mehmet. Even i dont know some of them as a Turk. By the way do you have reading? Where i said all models and singers are moron?Its better you should polish your glasses ...

I prefer the believe in the guy because there were similar incidents happened in the Netherlands before, three Turks were suspended by their parties during the elections, the reason is that they denied Armenian allegments.Wink link . I can show you many examples about hostility and prejudices against Turks in the Netherlands, how they put PKK in the category of freedom of thought since it is listed in world terrorist groups, there are lots organizations of PKK in the Netherlands, i know because i have relatives there. Besides what kind of proof you asking for? You cannot prove every pressure on him via sources or documents.

Instead of hijacking this topic again, I´ll just make it short and sweet. The PKK is illegal in Holland. PKK fighters might be hiding here, like the can be hiding anywhere in the world. The Dutch government is trying to battle this, which is evident from the arrests a few years back of a big group of PKK fighters in Holland. Individual Dutch people might find the PKK a good organization (I´m not one of them) but they are allowed to think this. Just like they are allowed to say that what happened to the Armenians wasn´t genocide. In any case, I think a criminal should not be in the list of famous Turks. Bringing false documents to court makes you a criminal.

Anyway, in my opinion it might also be nice to look at people who did grand things, without maybe being world-famous. Necdet Kent is an interesting person to look at. He´s a good example of a brave person, and has also been rewarded for this.

Instead of hijacking this topic again,

I also think it is enough. One last thing for your information there are many famous criminals in the world.

Here is another one;

Prof. Dr. Türkel Minibaş(1953-2009)--Turkish columnist, academician, economist, she was also activist, founder member of many charity organizations such as Türkiye Korunmaya Muhtaç Çocuklar Vakfı, Türk Kültür Vakfı, Türk Çağ Vakfı, Sosyal Demokrasi Vakfı. Besides she was vice president of "Çağdaş Yaşamı Destekleme Derneği". She was dealing with the problems of Turkish women, she believes enhancing the status of women in society is the key factor for modernization. Hence she studied on women and sexism, published many articles about this. She encouraged students to research and write thesis on women. Moreover she made studies on how to integrate more Turkish women into working life. And she prepared campaigns to enhance the literacy rate of girls in Turkey.

 Google "HunTurk" and see who comes on!..   Hungarians and Turks give ATTILA as a first name for a reason!  http://www.encyclopedia.com/video/frxhFY4ezzo-hun-turk-tatar-mongol-empires.aspx,   Genghiz (english spelling) is popular in Turkey also.

I´ve been trying to find information regarding Taiho Koki  was a very famous Sumo wrestler who I was told was of Turkic heritage. He was a champion in the 1960s.

The story I was told is that his family were Tartar Turks who took refuge in Japan after WWI.  Now on doing research all I can find is his father was from the Ukraine...which was part of Krim at one time.  Perhaps some of our Turks here may have heard of him.

Guess what, I don´t have the energy or inspiration to look it up for anyone.....

an interesting personatlity, but totally irrevelant to the topic.

Google Flat Earth theory or the story of American Indians being Turkish.

Attila is a significant historical person with Hollywood movies, books and stories based on.

My name is Petra, which is common in Croatia, Germany, Ukraine and the name of an ancient town in Greece. Esmeralda was a popular name given to new born babies by Romanos after the South American soap opera 10 years ago. These must be for a reason too.

In this world everything and everybody is related. That´s a fact.

But what did Attia did for Turkey? Why do you think that he was a Turkish leader? I wouldn´t put his name next to Atatürk.
