in english, for example, we would say: red car, old house, sad story, beautiful face

the descriptive word comes first. is it the same in turkish? kirmizi araba, eski ev, etc

is this the correct order? you would not say car red???- araba kirmizi, correct?

i apologize for spelling, i have no turkish keyboard on my phone keyboard. i just want to make sure i understand the correct order when i practice to write sentences in turkish. thanks for any help.

Yes.

In Turkish the qualifier comes before the qualified. This is pretty much a rule which you can trust from early steps of learning until an anvanced level.

Another thing to remember here which learners ofter err in is the place of the indefinite article. In your examples it comes to the middle: kırmızı bir araba, eski bir ev.
