merhaba! Hello everyone who intrested to help me... I have found one really nice Turkish serial which is called "Aglatan Dans"...and there comes absolutely amazing music with words along for its first episode...

in short, I fell in love with that music and that men´ words... I did try to translate, but it quiet complicated. Would you help me, I am so excited to know what do those lovely words mean!?

here them:

Gel ey sevgili
İstersen yar ol gel
İstersen yara
 Ne gönlümün derdini sor bana
 Ne sararan yüzümü sor
 Ey gönlümün sol yarısı
Aklıma koydum seni aklım almadı
Kalbime koydum seni sana doymadım
 Arşımın aşkı yar
Aşk sandığın kadar değil yandığın kadar!

with the help of different translators I got something near to this: my left side of my soul, I was looking for you... Come to me, good or neither bad you are. You are always in my heart but I miss you all the time. The love it is not what you think, you will learn it when you will burn of it!"

well, don´t blame me for my attempt to translate as I am far from it... But now I am so excited to learn Turkish!!!

It´s just that poems and music sometimes have a linguistical freedom that doesn´t help me to learn to speak Turkish to people so I usually skip lyrics and poetry.

Zaten Ingilizce konuşuyorsun.

It looks good to me

If you like some practice you can try the link I posted under "link to free English practise lessons" in the forum. Ve tabii ki burada her şeyi bana sorabilirsin.

(Türkçem´den Ingilizcem daha iyidir.)
